"Sex And the City", "Friends", "Seinfeld"-- Something fundamental about these shows made them cult like hits. And overall, what maeks this group different is that sometimes we don't want to go hiking- we just want to go out the house, go for coffee, the movies, or shopping with a bud to have someone tell …

Topics and activities are always up for discussion. I would love to see things like game nights, hiking trips, etc.! You should joi …

V.C. Andrews Book Club, anyone? As a teenager, her books both fascinated and frightened me; Andrews' stories read like horrific fairytales, gritty with no happy endings. While today's YA fiction focuses largely on dystopian societies, Andrews explored taboo subjects of our own society (and quite possibly, of her own strange mind). I think it would interesting to read her books again, in my late twenties, and see if they are still as scandalous and as much of a guilty pleasure as my 12 year old s …

… (WGIRLS) was founded by a group of young professional women in NYC committed to helping others through donations of their time, energy and talents. The WGIRLS name originated when the group decided to initiate once a week get togethers to hang out, catch up and plan events.....over drinks. Please don't be afraid to join if you have a crier or chewer or tantrum-thrower. However you parent, especially in difficult situations, will not be judged. And let's keep it free of parenting politics; we're all doing the best we can! We hope you'll join us in the fight against boredom!

"A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, big or small, young or old. He doesn't care if you're not smart, not popular, not a good joke-teller, not the best athlete, nor the best-looking person. To your dog, you are the greatest, the smartest, the nicest human being who was ever born. You are his friend and protector.” ~Louis Sabin
